Jodhpur: Film actress Kangana Ranaut met with a minor accident while shooting for her upcoming film 'Manikarnika' in Jodhpur on Tuesday night. She was rushed to a hospital where she was given treatment and recommended rest. After the treatment, she left for Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon.Dr Pulikit Goyal from Goyal Hospital said Kangana was brought to the hospital at 4am with sprain in her right ankle."We did an X-ray and found that there was no fracture. It was just a sprain, after which we put a cast and recommended rest for some time," said Goyal.While talking to the media in the hospital, Kangana said that she was shooting a stunt scene in the Mehrangarh Fort for her film early on Tuesday morning."During this scene, I stumbled and injured my right ankle," said Kangana adding that she was taken to the hospital where she was provided necessary treatment after an x-ray. "There was nothing serious, It was just a sprain," she said.After being discharged from the hospital, she was taken back to the hotel, where she rested for the day and then went back to Mumbai in the afternoon.Kangana has been in the city for over a week now for shooting her film. She also made a public appearance last week when she had visited a renowned restaurant of the city.
