BRIEFLY Phagwara: Three unidentified motorcyclists snatched a bike from Manjinder Singh, a resident of Salarpur village, on Friday. Phagwara Deputy Superintendent of the Police Manjit Singh said the incident took place near Hardasspur village. The suspects managed to flee with the snatched motorcycle after beating-up the victim. “The police have registered a case under Sections 379-B and 34 of the IPC and captured the CCTV footage from nearby CCTVs and circulated them to the public through social media,” he added. Head Constable of the Punjab Police, Ludhiana, Ashok Kumar was going to produce the documents before Kapurthala Judicial Court in the car. The victim stopped his car near the bus stand to pick up his friend, when an unidentified person told him to clean the seat of the car which was not cleaned. But as soon as the victim turned to see the seat of the car, the suspect decamped with documents from the file. The miscreant managed to flee. The police have registered a case under Section 379 of the IPC.
