Officials honoured for their feats

Tribune News ServiceJalandhar, August 16The district administration of Kapurthala honoured eight officials and employees for various feats during the Independence Day function held at the Guru Nanak Stadium here. On the occasion, the Health Department showcased tableaux of the Ayushman Bharat Sarbat Sehat Yojna and the De-Addiction Centre with the Ayushman tableau bagging the third position. DC Kapurthala Devinderpal Kharbanda distributed the awards. Officiating Civil Surgeon Rajesh Bagga, Deputy Medical Commissioner Sarika Duggal, District Immunisation Officer Asha Mangat, District Health Officer Kuljit Singh and ADC Avtar Singh Bhullar were among those others present. The MLA and the DC said all entry points, prominent chowks, roads and throughfares of the district would be made more beautiful with plants, trees, lights, etc.

Ahead of the celebrations of the 550th Parkash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev, the inauguration of the beautification of the DC Chowk was done on Independence Day by MLA Rana Gurjit Singh and the DC. The MLA and the DC said all entry points, prominent chowks, roads and throughfares of the district would be made more beautiful with plants, trees, lights, etc.
