Tribune News ServiceJalandhar, September 14The Water Supply and Sanitation Department on Saturday organised an awareness seminar at the Bambiawali Anganwari Centre under Poshan Abhiyan to sensitise women about the importance of clean water. Officials from the department, including Executive Engineer Vijay Kumar, Sub-Divisional Officers Alok Arora and Gagandeep Singh Walia told women to ensure the intake of clean water daily to save themselves from several diseases. The clean water must be used for preparing dishes. They said the pregnant women, lactating mothers and children must wash hands with soap before consuming anything. They also told pregnant women to consume nutritious food.
