Hoshiarpur lawyer invited for 5-day WHO workshop

Our CorrespondentHoshiarpur, September 19World Health Organisation (WHO) has invited a Hoshiarpur-based advocate Dr Aastha Bagga to participate in a five-day workshop on Global Road Safety to be held in Geneva, Switzerland from September 24 to 27. Participants from various countries will discuss best practices adopted by different countries on road safety. Aastha is presently residing in Chandigarh. She did her doctorate in Law from Panjab University and is a member of the World Health Organisation’s legal development programme in India. Dr Bagga disclosed that purpose of the workshop is capacity building and strengthening collaboration for the purpose of road safety.
