Jalandhar, July 13 The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised a seminar on “Emerging trends in professional security systems for industry”. Praveen Kumar Sharma, Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar, was the chief guest at the interactive seminar. The Chamber had invited experts from Samar Security Solutions, a company approved by the Punjab State Controlling Authority and Security Sector Skill Development Council. Sanjeev Juneja, convener of the Jalandhar Chapter of Commerce and Industry, while welcoming the guests and members, said there should be nothing more important than hiring a professional security guard service to ensure the safety of your home, office or person. “Any business, home or person will need to deal with the terrifying reality that they could be a target for criminal activities – be it office equipment, legal or private documents or even valuables such as jewellery or technology and security guard services act as a visible deterrent to any criminals,” he said. Juneja added that a security guard on hand provides a sense of security for patrons and employees alike. He said professional security guards also act as ambassador for business. They serve as the intermediary between business and customers as in access controlled areas, the clients will need to go through security checks before they can enter the premises. Ahsanul Haq, president, Jalandhar Management Association, said having trained professional security guards provides not only peace of mind to the customers and employees, but also shows both customers and employees that their safety and well-being is of concern.
