Tribune News ServiceJalandhar, July 13The Jalandhar (Rural) police have confiscated drugs worth around Rs 18 crore in the last four months. In addition, 137 proclaimed offenders (POs) wanted in various cases have been arrested in the district. According to the SSP, the drive against drug peddlers and proclaimed offenders will continue. Bhullar said recoveries under the NDPS Act and the arrest of proclaimed offenders have been made in a special drive that began on March 16. He said special teams of officers have been constituted to monitor the drive.
