Jalandhar, November 10 Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma today called upon the people to come forward and help the district administration to keep a vigil on the illegal mining in the district by registering their complaints online. In a statement issued here today, Sharma said the state government and district administration had launched an online app, helpline number and email to facilitate the people for lodging their complaints. He said in order to check illegal mining the Punjab government had launched PB GRAM online portal (www.publicgrievancepb.gov.in) where people could lodge their complaints. Sharma said in order to check illegal mining in the district Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) has been appointed as the Nodal officer. He said besides this portal, people could also lodge their complaints on helpline No. 0181-2459664. He said if any person wants to give information to the nodal officer, then he can contact him on the helpline or email i.e. adc.gjal@gmail.com.
