Militants fired at the entry gate of the Army camp in Kulgam and shot dead policeman Fayaz Ahmed as he came out after the Id prayers, according to reports.

Three policemen were killed and several others injured in Jammu and Kashmir as violence marred the Eid Al-Adha or Bakrid celebrations with heavy clashes and stone pelting incidents reported from different parts of the Valley. Protesters also took to streets and were seen waving flags of Pakistan and the terrorist group Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Meanwhile, the Muslim festival of Bakrid or Eid-al Adha celebration, which falls on every 10th day of the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah, is observed across the country on Wednesday.
