Only 500 outside devotees are allowed at Vaishno Devi, registration will be online

All the religious places of the state including mother Vaishno Devi will open from 16. For this, SOP has been issued by the government. Five thousand devotees will visit the Vaishno Devi Yatra daily. Of these, only 500 passengers coming from outside the state will be allowed.

Registration will be online only so that there is no rush at the counter. Special guidelines have been issued for the journey of Maa Vaishno Devi. The CEO of the Shrine Board and the District Deputy Commissioner of Reasi will ensure their adherence. 

According to the SOP, 5000 devotees will be allowed to be sent daily to the Vaishno Devi by September 30, 2020. All the pilgrims coming from outside the state will have 100% Kovid antigen test under the protocol. 

Travel will be allowed only when the report comes negative. Similarly, the passengers coming from the Red Zone will also have a rapid test. The report will have to be negative for the trip. Rapid antigen test (RAT) facility will be provided at many places on the itinerary.
