Tight security arrangements have been made in Kashmir Valley even before Independence Day celebrations. Suspicious people and vehicles are being searched at various places. According to the IGP of Jammu and Kashmir Police, this time helicopters and drones will be used for air surveillance. We are ready to give a befitting reply to every plan of terrorists. At the same time, full dress rehearsal of the 15 August ceremony was held at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium in Srinagar.

In the program, troops of all the security forces marched past. Divcom of Kashmir took the salute. The artists presented colorful programs.

IGP Vijay Kumar said on Thursday that preparations have been made on 15 August. Programs will be held at every district headquarters and in the state capital, Srinagar. This time, helicopters and drones will be used in air surveillance. While the Jammu and Kashmir Police as well as Army and Para Military Force have also been deployed for ground security. 

According to Vijay Kumar, all sensitive places have been blocked. The suspects are being searched.

In response to a question asked about the input of terrorist attack, he said that on 26th January and 15th August every time a lot of inputs are received. There is also the presence of terrorists, but we are fully prepared.

He said that information is on surveillance. If the terrorists try to do any nefarious act in any area, it will be killed.
