Shaurya Chakra to four bravehearts who eliminated terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir

Four bravehearts of the Army who have shown indomitable courage in anti-terror operations in Jammu and Kashmir will be given the Gallantry Medal. These include Air Force Wing Commander Vishak Nair and Army Lieutenant Colonel Krishna Singh Rawat, Major Anil Urs and Havildar Alok Kumar Dubey.

Four bravehearts of the Army who have shown indomitable courage in anti-terror operations in Jammu and Kashmir will be given the Gallantry Medal. These include Air Force Wing Commander Vishak Nair and Army Lieutenant Colonel Krishna Singh Rawat, Major Anil Urs and Havildar Alok Kumar Dubey. On Friday, on the eve of Independence Day, the President approved gallantry medals for the army. With this, 31 soldiers of the army will get the Medal of Valor.

On the other hand, the Union Home Ministry announced a total of 926 medals, including gallantry, distinguished service and meritorious service medals for state and central police personnel. Under this, 215 policemen will be awarded the Police Bravery Medal. The Police Medal has been awarded to the President`s Police Medal for distinguished service, 80 Policemen and 631 Policemen for Meritorious Service. 

Shaheed Delhi Police Inspector Mohanchand Sharma will be awarded the posthumous Bravery Medal for the seventh time in the 2008 Batla House encounter. At the same time, Naresh Kumar, Assistant Commandant of CRPF, will get the Bravery Medal for the seventh time for showing bravery in the campaign against terrorists in Kashmir. He was part of the Army`s anti-terrorist group Quick Action Team (Quat), deployed in the Kashmir Valley. Hyderabad National Police Academy director Atul Karwal will get the Police Bravery Medal for the second time. At the same time, BSF Assistant Commandant Vinay Prasad, who was martyred in Samba last year in the shelling of Pakistan, will receive the posthumous Bravery Medal.

Jammu and Kashmir gets the most 81 medals

81 soldiers including Jammu and Kashmir DIG Atul Kumar Goyal, who caught DSP Davinder Singh by exposing terror and police nexus, will get Police Bravery Medal. At the same time, 55 CRPF personnel will get the Medal of Valor. Of these, 41 will be honored for anti-Naxal operations in Jammu and Kashmir, 14 for anti-Naxal operations in Chhattisgarh. Jammu and Kashmir, combined with state police and central force, will receive the highest number of 123 gallantry medals for service.

23 gallantry medals to U.P. 

23 soldiers from Uttar Pradesh Police and 16 from Delhi Police will be awarded the Medal of Valor. After this, 14 soldiers from Maharashtra Police and 12 from Jharkhand Police will be given Bravery Medals.
DG honors 294 ITBP jawans who take on Chinese soldiers
The ITBP will receive the Director General of Honor to 294 jawans who took on Chinese soldiers in Galvan Valley. In addition, the ITBP has recommended the 21 soldiers for the gallantry medal for indomitable courage. At the same time, 358 paramilitary personnel have been recommended to be given the Home Minister`s Special Service Medal for serving in the war against Corona. 

Shaurya Chakra to 4 CISF personnel rescued from fire in Delhi, Mumbai

Four bravehearts of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), rescuing people from the horrific fire at CGO Complex in Delhi and ONGC Building in Mumbai, will receive the Shaurya Chakra posthumously. These include Sub Inspector Mahavir Prasad Godra, Head Constable Irana Nayaka, Constable Mahendra Kumar Paswan and Satish Prasad Kushwaha. Godra`s life had gone away from the fifth floor of the CGO complex on March 6 last year while rescuing people. At the same time, the lives of three other soldiers went to save people from the fire that broke out in ONGC`s plant in Mumbai on September 3 last year. Probably for the first time CISF jawans are being awarded military gallantry medals. The Shaurya Chakra is the third highest gallantry medal awarded in Shantikal.
