The Pakistani Army on Monday opened fire along the army posts along the Line of Control in the Kasba, Kearni and Shahpur sectors, targeting the residential areas. According to sources, an attempt was being made by the Pakistani Army to infiltrate the terrorists under the cover of shelling. The army has thwarted it by retaliation.

On Monday afternoon at around 2:30 pm, the Pakistani army opened fire in Kasba, Kearni and Shahpur sectors. A few moments later, the army deployed in the area also started responding to the shelling.

When the Pakistani army started shelling, some people along the Line of Control were working in the fields and some were grazing livestock. They had to flee to safe places to save their lives.

Significantly, the Pakistani Army is carrying out almost every day shelling along the Line of Control in the district, in which the houses and animals of the people are being damaged.

Pakistan fired shells first with light weapons and later mortars. This created an atmosphere of panic in rural areas along the Line of Control. The Pakistani shelling was so strong that its voices were heard from several kilometers away. The army also gave a befitting reply to the shelling. Due to this, the firing ceased after two hours.
