Jammu and Kashmir Covid-19 Update: 11 deaths in the state including retired doctor, the number of corona infected reached near 80 thousand

Covid continues to wreak havoc in Jammu and Kashmir. The number of corona infects in the state has reached close to 80 thousand.

Covid continues to wreak havoc in Jammu and Kashmir. The number of corona infects in the state has reached close to 80 thousand. However, 62404 patients have recovered from beating Corona, while there are 15460 active cases. In addition, 1242 have died. There were 878 new cases in the state in the last 24 hours and 11 died. 

Six patients died in Jammu division due to corona infection on Sunday. These include an 86-year-old retired doctor. He lived in Shaktinagar. The dead included four from Jammu district and one from Poonch and Kathua districts, one patient.

Jammu district received 252 new cases of corona infection on Sunday. 456 new patients are from Jammu division and 422 from Kashmir division in the state. However, it was a relief that 1053 patients recovered. It consists of 525 Jammu and 528 Kashmir divisions. Talk about new cases at the district level, 252 in Jammu, 35 in Rajori, 27 in Udhampur, 14 in Doda, 21 in Kathua, 17 in Poonch, 22 in Samba, eight in Ramban, 49 in Kishtwar and 11 in Reasi. 

156 new cases have been reported in Srinagar district, 53 in Budgam, 52 in Baramulla, 17 in Pulwama, 12 in Kupwara, 30 in Anantnag, 54 in Bandipora, 33 in Ganderbal, six in Kulgam and six in Shopia. Six patients who lost their lives due to Corona on Sunday belong to Jammu division and five to Kashmir division.

Overall, the number of infected patients has reached 79106 in the state. 62404 patients have recovered after beating Corona and active patients are 15460. The number of dead has reached 1242. So far 1707503 Tests have been conducted in Jammu and Kashmir.
