Excelsior CorrespondentKATHUA Nov 30: J&K BJP Vice President Yudhvir Sethi said that Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory is fast moving on the path of peace and progress while the nation has scaled new heights of development eyeing on welfare of all sections under dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The national security has been strengthened under the current dispensation he said adding that the country is most secure in the hands of Modi. He also credited Modi for moving away from the past to create a “non-corrupt India”. Jungveer Singh Cheeko Sah Prabhari criticized the successive Governments at the Centre as well as in the erstwhile J&K State for doing nothing except betrayals to solve their issues. Ex MLA Kuldeep Corporator Rahul Kumar Chattar Singh Mandal President Asif Gill Parvaiz Malik Vishal Sharma Naresh Goswami Khazan Chand BDC Chairman Shashi Kant Municipal Committee Chairman and Arti Jasrotia were also present.

While addressing a series of meetings in connection with DDC polls in support of Party candidate Neelam Devi at Nagri area of Kathua district the senior BJP leader said that the country has witnessed huge transformation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The national security has been strengthened under the current dispensation he said adding that the country is most secure in the hands of Modi. He also credited Modi for moving away from the past to create a “non-corrupt India”. There have been no communal violence no riots and no strike across the country in the last five years Sethi said adding that the BJP Government had succeeded in creating a peaceful and united India. Yudhvir Sethi asserted that his partys commitment to bring vibrancy in governance by taking it to grass roots level has become more evident as the stage has been set for establishing District Development Councils (DDC) the members of which will be directly elected in the Union Territory of J&K. Seeking vote and support for BJP candidates in the DDC polls Sethi said that BJP-led Government is well wisher of people and will leave no stone unturned to ensure that peoples interests are given first and foremost priority.
