Excelsior Correspondent UDHAMPUR Mar 7: Monthly meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee was held here today under the chairmanship of JKTJAC UT president Vinod Sharma and District president Lekh Raj Parihar. The meeting was attended by JKTJAC representatives from all the 11 Zones of the district Udhampur and speakers on the occasion raised burning issues of the teachers. These issues included inclusion of five years ReT period for seniority benefits regularisation of ReTs who have completed their 5 years ReT period and waiting for the same for a long time as some cases are pending for last more than two years appointment of ZEOs in headless zones so that teachers may not suffer conversion of left out RReTs to Teachers Grade II/III as they are suffering due to non release of their salaries DPC of Teachers to Masters as same has not been done since 2014 sanction of Master grade posts in SSA upgraded schools and Transfer Policy in favour of Teachers appointed under ReT scheme as these teachers have been working in the same schools for last 20 years. While speaking on the occasion Vinod Sharma and Lekh Raj Parihar requested CEO Udhampur to make provision for release of pending MDM dues of Zones Ghordi and Udhampur as the teachers have managed from their own pockets. Meanwhile on the occasion Shamsher Singh was unanimously nominated as Chief Finance Secretary of JKTJAC Udhampur. Those who spoke on the occasion included Sukhdev Singh Sumbria Sukesh Khajuria Ashok Seth Pritam Goswami Chain Singh Bhushan Khajuria Sandeep Sharma Rakesh Singh Mohd Mustfa Anil Sharma Swaran Singh Vipin Sharma Maan Chand Khajuria Balvinder Singh Madan Kumar Puma Chand Ajaz Wani Som Raj Vijay Sadotra Romesh Kumar Partap Singh Mohd Saleem Tilak Sharma and others.
