CHANDIGARH: Students of many prominent Schools of the Tricity will be sending a truckload of new woollens for schoolchildren and hundreds of greetings for soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir On World Kindness Day on November 13.The event is being organized by Independent Schools Association (ISA), Yuvsatta, and Peace Club of KBDAV Senior Secondary Public School in association with the Army , who are arranging transportation and final distribution. This 'children to children' endeavour of love, friendship and patriotism will certainly generate much needed warmth and goodwill to further sustain and strengthen the spirit of one India, which we all admire and adore a lot," shared Madhu Bahl , regional director, DAV schools and a major partner in the initiative.Emphasizing on Gandhian thought of "Be the Change", R D Singh , secretary, Independent Schools Association, Chandigarh, and New Public School principal said, "Peaceful coexistence is only possible if we inculcate in young ones the concern and compassion for others.
