GA supporters in a spot as Congress, JMM fail to name candidates for Jamshedpur, Singhbhum

JAMSHEDPUR: Leaders and activists of various Kurmi outfits from Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha gathered at Galudih Anchalik maidan in Ghatshila on Saturday demanding Schedule Tribe status for the community. The congregation, which turned into a public rally, unanimously passed a resolution to seek ST status at every cost.The public meeting was held by Kurmi Andolankari Manch , an umbrella outfit of various Kurmi outfits, to pressure the government for their demand ahead of next years LS and Assembly elections.
