13-year-old detained for killing elderly man in a fit of rage

JAMSHEDPUR: The Dumaria police on Thursday detained a 13-year-old boy for killing a 61-year-old man in a fit of rage after he saw him getting intimate with his mother at his home on Wednesday evening.The minor, a resident of Kosapholia Tola in Mahespur village in Ghatshila sub-division, confessed before the police he wasn't happy with the elderly man visiting their house frequently and his growing closeness with his mother.The growing anger in the minor exploded last evening when the elderly, identified as Chadu Hansdah , arrived at their house along with one of his friend, whose identity couldn't be ascertained. Hansdah apparently wanted to spend some intimate moment with the minor's mother, who is in her mid-forties.It is learnt that the Class VII boy couldn't tolerate the offending scenes and assaulted Hansdah with a sharp axe and wounded him seriously.
