Chirugoda halt station inaugurated

We have made a lot of struggle to see this day," 33-year old local villager Amarjeet Mahato said with a smile.Kedar Singh (47), a government school teacher, said over 20 pairs of trains run through Chirugoda everyday but none had a halt. "We had to travel either to Ghatshila or Dhalbhumgarh (both stations are at 6km distance from Chirugoda) to board a train," he added.The railways said it has announced stoppage of Kharagpur-Tatanagar passenger at Chirugoda.
