Bikers enroute to Odisha to promote road safety, tourism

RANCHI: Around 200 adventure junkies from across the country who are associated with Metal Riders, a motorcycle club based in Ranchi, are gearing up for a four-day trip to Odisha with an aim to promote road safety and tourism . At Chandipur, the remaining 60 riders will join them and they will have an interactive session, activities, music and in-house games. From there the riders will return on September 10 and take different routes to reach Jamsedpur and disperse from there. He added, "On September 8, the 140 riders will start their tour for Chandipur, Odisha.

The journey will commence on September 7 from Ranchi.Metal Riders secretary Shailesh Singh said, "Sixty riders from Delhi, Gujarat, Bihar and Jharkhand will initiate the journey on September 7 from Namkum . In the evening, the riders will reach Jamshedpur. Another 80 riders from West Bengal Jammu and Kashmir , Maharashtra, Punjab will join them and they will stay at Galudih resort." He added, "On September 8, the 140 riders will start their tour for Chandipur, Odisha. At Chandipur, the remaining 60 riders will join them and they will have an interactive session, activities, music and in-house games."Singh also said during the sessions, the riders will promote road safety and tourism in the area.
