JAMSHEDPUR: The construction of the proposed multi-storey building of the Indian Institute of Information and Technology (IIIT) in Ranchi is likely to get delayed further as frequent bids by NIT-Jamshedpur (mentor college of IIIT) to get through the infrastructure work has failed to make any progress.According to sources, the NIT authorities have made three attempts, in the last six months, to contact the state government to seek procedural approvals for inviting tenders from construction companies for building the required infrastructure.NIT spokesperson Deepak Chourasia said, "The top officials from the higher and technical education department were not available for meetings on three occasions this year.
