JAMSHEDPUR: Muslims on Saturday celebrated Milad-ul-Nabi to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohamed , with pomp and gaiety in the state. The highlight of the day's event was the religious procession Juloos-e-Mohammadi taken out by various socio-religious outfits of the community across the state. The East Singhbhum district police made tight security arrangements to ensure smooth movement of the procession from the sensitive areas.In Jamshedpur , the main highlight was the procession taken out from Gandhi maidan in Mango to Dhatkidih in Bistupur crossing through Aam Bagan in Sakchi.
