JODHPUR: A station master posted at Jodhpur railway station committed suicide at his house on Sunday night. He was found hanging from the ceiling fan by police. They found Jain hanging from the ceiling fan. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared brought dead.“The body was handed over to the family members after post-mortem,” said Kumar, adding that no suicide note was found.“We have begun investigation into the matter,” Kumar said.People close to Jain will be interrogated, they said.According to sources, Jain’s family had been living with him but shifted to Jaipur following repeated altercations. He had been living alone in Jodhpur for past some time while his family stayed in Jaipur.The deceased was identified as Sagar Jain (50).The reason for suicide has not been ascertained yet, however, altercation between family members is believed to be the cause of death.According to Ramesh Kumar, SHO, Ratanada, Jain was posted as station master at Jodhpur railway station and had been living in a rented house in Ratanada locality.“On Monday morning, a neighbour of Jain informed us that despite repeated calls from the milkman, Jain gave no response,” said Kumar.Police reached the spot and broke into the house.
