Salman Khan can go abroad without court nod

JODHPUR: Salman Khan will not be required to seek permission from the court for travelling abroad every time. The court on Wednesday, granted him permanent exemption from permission, for travelling abroad.Khan had moved an application in the sessions court on Wednesday, seeking permanent exemption from permission every time he has to leave the country. He added that Khan however, will have to provide entire details about his travel plan to the court before leaving.It may be recalled that while granting him bail, the sessions court had ordered him to take permission every time he has to travel abroad. "Granting the application, the sessions judge Chandra Kumar Songra, exempted Khan from taking permission every time he has to leave the country for any purpose," said his counsel H M Saraswat. "We had moved a similar application earlier in August, but had withdrawn it.

The defence had sought modification in this condition, exempting him from permission. "We had moved a similar application earlier in August, but had withdrawn it. Today, a fresh application was moved and the court admitted this application," Saraswat said.On the other hand, hearing on the appeal of Khan against the five years' sentence in a poaching case of two black bucks, did not take place on account of reference of an advocate. It will however, continue on Thursday.
