Trader's body found in train's toilet

"Going by the post-mortem report, the trader suffered cardiac arrest and died," said GRP inspector Ram Mohan Rai.Padam Aagrwal, brother-in-law of Sanjay, said: "It's painful that his body remained in the train's toilet for days and none came across it. His family members rushed to Patna. The GRP shifted the body to morgue and informed his family after identifying him on the basis of papers he was carrying. He had boarded the train at around 6.34 am on May 24 from Kanpur Central railway station to go to Agra. The family members and friends also circulated his picture on WhatsApp with an appeal to look for him.On Sunday, his body was found lying inside the toilet of Kota-Patna Express at Rajendra Nagar Terminus in Patna in a highly decomposed state.

KANPUR: Highly decomposed body of a 48-year-old city businessman, who went missing while going to Agra via Patna-Kota Express train on May 24, was found in the toilet of the train when it reached Rajendra Nagar terminus in Patna from Kota on Sunday.Sanjay Agarwal, who was into inverter business, lived in Anandpuri locality in Juhi area of the city along with his family. He had boarded the train at around 6.34 am on May 24 from Kanpur Central railway station to go to Agra. He remained in touch with his wife Deepali on phone till 8 am and apprised her about the train's location in Phafoond (Auraiya), a GRP official said.He added that after that his phone switched off and when he did not contact his family members till late night, they lodged a missing complaint with GRP Kanpur Central. The family members and friends also circulated his picture on WhatsApp with an appeal to look for him.On Sunday, his body was found lying inside the toilet of Kota-Patna Express at Rajendra Nagar Terminus in Patna in a highly decomposed state. The GRP shifted the body to morgue and informed his family after identifying him on the basis of papers he was carrying.
