W ater level of the Ganga is on the rise in Kanpur following heavy rains in Uttarakhand . On Saturday, 93,500 cusecs of water was released into the Ganga from Narora dam while 62,950 cesucs water was released from Haridwar. The rising level of water is threatening to inundate low-lying areas.
