Kanpur DM warns against fudging plantation data

We would cross check the data and stringent action would be taken against those giving wrong information, he added.He said that Kanpur's target of plantation was of 15,73,250 saplings and it should be achieved by August 15.Chief minister Yogi Adityanath would monitor the state-level campaign in which around nine crore saplings would be planted across the state.The district magistrate said, "As this drive is a public campaign , therefore, participation of every village, panchayat, nagar panchayat , municipal bodies, development authority, schools, colleges and voluntary organizations should be ensured for the success of this campaign.
