No temple at disputed site: Shivpal Yadav

KANPUR: Founder of Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia), Shivpal Yadav on Wednesday said "temple (in Ayodhya ) should not be built at the disputed site and they (BJP) should wait as the matter is pending before the Supreme Court". But, to dethrone BJP if one wants to join hands with Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party, we are ready. Shivpal also claimed that he had formed his party with the blessings of SP patriarch. Shivpal, on a question whether he would strike an alliance with the party of Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, said, "No one has yet contacted me over the issue. We expect a respectable seat-sharing arrangement in the upcoming general elections.

KANPUR: Founder of Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia), Shivpal Yadav on Wednesday said "temple (in Ayodhya ) should not be built at the disputed site and they (BJP) should wait as the matter is pending before the Supreme Court"."However, if they (BJP) are in a hurry, the government has plenty of land where the temple could be constructed," said Shivpal at a private event in the city on Wednesday.Taking further dig at the BJP over it's spree of changing names of the districts, Shivpal said; "Instead of changing name of places, BJP men should first change their heart so that an atmosphere of peace and communal harmony could be built in the country." Shivpal, on a question whether he would strike an alliance with the party of Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, said, "No one has yet contacted me over the issue. But, to dethrone BJP if one wants to join hands with Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party, we are ready. We expect a respectable seat-sharing arrangement in the upcoming general elections."He also told reporters that a huge rally named 'Save Constitution', under the banner of Pragtisheel Sanajwadi Party and other like-minded parties, will be organised at Rama Bai Ambedkar Maidan in Lucknow on December 9 to press for the use of ballot papers instead of EVMs in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Shivpal also claimed that he had formed his party with the blessings of SP patriarch.
