Man bobbitises youth for rape bid

Police recorded his statement on Thursday.According to the police, the woman's father-in-law Ram Sanehi had planned to teach Arun a lesson after coming to know that he was regularly stalking his daughter-in-law. KANPUR: A 25-year-old youth had his genital cut off by the father-in-law of a woman whom he was allegedly trying to rape in Kakwan area of Kanpur on Wednesday.Arun Kumar, a resident of Kakwan, is now recovering at a hospital.According to SHO Kakwan, Daya Shankar Singh, Arun is a spoilt youth of the village.

Ram Sanehi was arrested on Thursday, while search for his younger brother Raghuveer is underway."An FIR against Arun has also been lodged under relevant sections including 354 of IPC following a complaint by the woman's mother-in-law," the SHO added.
