He said a time frame of two months has been fixed for vehicle owners to get their vehicles re-registered at the RTO."All vehicle owners falling in this category are hereby informed through this public notice that they should not ply such vehicles in the city, failing which the vehicles will be impounded with the help of the traffic police department," he said further."If a person gets a vehicle re-registered after the due date, a late fee of Rs 500 per month for four-wheeler and Rs 300 for two-wheeler, after the expiry of the due date, will be charged by the RTO," he added.The city's air quality is becoming severe with each passing day, said Regional Pollution Control Board authorities. "It is a positive move by the RTO to improve the air quality index of the city, which has been earning infamy since the past few days," said Regional Pollution Control Board officer Kuldeep Mishra.
