‘Take pledge to ensure that BJP gets 73 plus seats in 2019 LS polls’

“The coming together of the opposition parties is actually ‘accumulation’ of those who are corrupt. Kanpur: Deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has urged his party workers to toil hard to get 73 plus seats in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.“We do not want even the same tally of 73 seats this time. The party workers should take a pledge to ensure that BJP gets atleast 74 seats in the election, he added.The opposition parties, he said, are afraid that PM Modi might again come to power at the Centre in 2019. Modiji, who is our PM face for the next general election, will be the country’s prime minister again”, he said. They (opposition) are afraid that if Modiji comes to power again, he will not spare the corrupt”, Maurya said.

It should be not less than 74 Lok Sabha seats in our kitty”, he said while addressing booth presidents in presence of national president Amit Shah and chief minister Yogi Adityanath and other senior party office-bearers at the railway ground here on Wednesday.“PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah is a bumper pair and a superhit ‘jodi’. Modiji, who is our PM face for the next general election, will be the country’s prime minister again”, he said. Attacking former CM Akhilesh Yadav, he said that Akhilesh used to enjoy Saifai Mahotsava but he never liked Kumbh.Targeting the bureaucrats, the deputy CM said, “The party workers, who feel that they are being ignored by the bureaucrats, should have patience till elections, and prepare a list of such officers. As these bureaucrats are inclined towards SP and BSP, they will be treated accordingly, he warned.
