Jhansi: A four-year-old boy died after being injured by a bullet fired, during celebratory firing, at a wedding ceremony in Jalaun on Sunday evening.As per reports, the incident occurred in Bagi village, under the jurisdiction of Kadora police station, during the wedding of one Abrar on Sunday evening.
The minor boy and his family were Abrar’s neighbours.The deceased’s father Mohammed Fayim was standing behind his minor son, when one of the guests, Raju (21), suddenly fired a gun.The bullet hit the boy’s back, injuring him.
Many guests were dancing while a disc jockey was playing loud music.
Three police teams have been formed to nab him.”
There was a lot of commotion and the child was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed during treatment.Police said that Raju used a country-made pistol to fire the bullet and managed to escape.SP (Jalaun) Arvind Chaturvedi, said, “An FIR was lodged against Rahu on Monday under section 304 of IPC.
