Pall of gloom descends on Unnao CRPF martyr's village, family demands strict action against Pakistan

He was the eldest among the siblings.As soon as the news of CRPF convoy coming under militant attack reached Ajit's home they got tense. People vented their anger against Pakistan by raising slogans against it. After a few hours, the family came to know that they had lost their brave son. They had anger against the government for not acting tough against the terrorists.Martyr's wife Meena was inconsolable.

KANPUR: Shrieks of cries were only what one could hear at the house of martyr Ajit Kumar Azad in Unnao who lost his life along with 43 other troopers in the dastardly terror attack on CRPF convoy at Jammu-Srinagar highway on Thursday evening.Ajit has been survived by his wife Meena and two children Isha (7) and Shreya (4). He was posted in the 115 Battalion of CRPF. He was the eldest among the siblings.As soon as the news of CRPF convoy coming under militant attack reached Ajit's home they got tense. After a few hours, the family came to know that they had lost their brave son. Soon people started gathering at Lok Nagar house of the martyr and tried giving strength to the aggrieved family.Everyone had one thing in common to say - Avenge the death of the martyrs. They had anger against the government for not acting tough against the terrorists.Martyr's wife Meena was inconsolable. She held government responsible for the attack on the security forces. She said that the government was not serious. She expressed anger and grief on this major terror attack which caused her a loss of her lifetime.Rajvanti, mother of the martyr said that the government should ensure that the militants should not go unpunished. She was unable to control her tears and kept weeping bitterly. "The government is not concerned. Nobody is worried for the people. We will not give our vote to anyone. Nobody is worth it. We have lost our son who will now never come back", Rajvanti said while talking to the mediapersons.She also said that terror attacks are on a rise in the country and mothers like her were loosing their sons. "Strict action should be taken against Pakistan which sponsors terrorism. Terrorists should not go scot free. They should be punished. We do not expect callous approach from the side of the government", she added.Even martyr's elder daughter Isha said that she wanted the government to act tough against the terrorists. She said that government is required to take some major decisions. The seven-year-old was also seen comforting her grandmother Rajvanti who was inconsolable.The locals of Lok Nagar demanded tough action against Pakistan. They said that both the ruling and the opposition parties should come together to give befitting reply to the enemies instead of levelling accusations against each other. People vented their anger against Pakistan by raising slogans against it.
