Pulwama martyr Pradeep Yadav's daughter faints during funeral

KANPUR: Supriya, the 10-year-old daughter of CRPF Jawan Pradeep Singh Yadav , a native of Ajan Sukhsenpur in Indergarh town of Kannauj , who was killed in Pulwama terror attack on Thursday, fainted soon after she lit the funeral pyre in the village on Saturday.A group of CRPF jawans, who were standing nearby, caught hold of Supriya.

KANPUR: Supriya, the 10-year-old daughter of CRPF Jawan Pradeep Singh Yadav , a native of Ajan Sukhsenpur in Indergarh town of Kannauj , who was killed in Pulwama terror attack on Thursday, fainted soon after she lit the funeral pyre in the village on Saturday.A group of CRPF jawans, who were standing nearby, caught hold of Supriya. She was then taken to nearby CHC (Community Health Centre). "The girl, after primary treatment has recovered, and was later sent back home," said a doctor at CHC.Her grandfather Amar Singh and mother Neeraj, besides younger brother Kuldeep, and other family members, meanwhile, were inconsolable as the final journey of the braveheart began.Supriya was discharged after primary treatment at the hospital.Amar Singh, the martyr's father and a retired deputy jailor, lit the funeral pyre amid slogans of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and anti-Pakistan slogans.Rich tributes were paid to the martyr who was also accorded a gun salute by a group of 30- CRPF jawans, who had accompanied with the mortal remains of the brave soldier.In the morning, as his body wrapped in Tricolour reached Ajan Sukhsenpur, his native village, a large number of people, including local representatives and district officials, were present. A senior officer from the CRPF was also present."Terrorists should not be spared for killing our soldiers including my son," said Amar Singh, father of CRPF Jawan Pradeep Singh Yadav, who retired from the post of deputy jailor in Bareilly about four years ago.Pradeep's younger brother Kuldeep, who is a teacher, stated that he is proud that his brother has laid down his life for the country. "My bhaiya had gone to serve the nation. I am proud of him.
