Martyr's widow accuses in-laws of harassment

KANPUR: Neeraj Devi, wife of a CRPF jawan martyred in Pulwama has registered a case against her in-laws for harassing and threatening her over property issues in Kanpur on Wednesday. When I protested, they hit me and asked me to give them money from the compensation I had received from the government," said Neeraj in the complaint. "They refused to give me my husband's share in property. "She said she was being harassed and threatened by her father-in-law Amar Singh, brother-in-law Kuldeep Singh, sister-in-law Rekha, mother-in-law Sarojini Devi and another relative, after she laid claim on property that her husband owned," said inspector Ashwini Pandey.
