A sudden fire broke out in Kanpur`s LPS Institute of Cardiology on Sunday morning. The fire is located in the emergency ward located on the first floor. There has been a stir in the hospital premises after the fire. After the fire, all the patients were taken out by breaking the glass and shifted to another place. One patient died after the fire broke out. Commissioner Dr. Rajasekhar said that no casualties were reported. A serious patient died at 6:30 am before the fire, while another patient died at 9:20 am, a pacemaker.

Police Commissioner Aseem Arun said that there were about 140 patients in the old building at the time of the incident. All have been safely evacuated. The building is being investigated yet no one has been reported to be trapped. He said that no deaths and injuries have been reported due to the fire. As a precaution, 10 ambulances have been installed. Patients have been temporarily shifted to the new building. Oxygen scope end systems have also been delivered.

At the same time, Professor Vinay Krishna, Director of Cardiology, says that the situation has been brought under control. All patients have been shifted. Oxygen arrangements have been made. Ventilators are being arranged for serious patients. Apart from this, ACP Mahendra Singh said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the store located on the ground floor had caught fire due to a short circuit. People of the fire service will investigate and explain what was the cause of the fire. At the same time, after this accident, Kanpur Police Commissioner Aseem Arun has also reached the spot.
