KANPUR: The lawyers observed 'black day' and demanded judicial jurisdiction of Ghatampur and Billhaur tehsils back in the city. The lawyers assembled at office of Kanpur Bar Association and went to the office of district magistrate in a procession.Former president of Kanpur Bar Association Surendra Pratap Singh said that law minister Brijesh Pathak had assured to vest judicial jurisdiction of two the tehsils back to Kanpur. The lawyers handed over a memorandum to DM Surendra Singh, which was addressed to the chief minister.
