The police officers said the accused used to bring ganja from Tamil Nadu to sell it in small packets of Rs 500. KOCHI: Kunnathunadu police arrested two people and seized one-and-a-half kg ganja from them on Friday.The arrested have been identified as Razak (33) of Vadayambadi and Salam (45) of Erumeli in Kunnathunadu.The duo were arrested following a tip-off that they were bringing ganja from Tamil Nadu . Police chased them down and managed to seize the ganja. They were arrested by a team headed by Perumbavoor DSP G Venu. The team was constituted under the direction of Ernakulam rural superintendent Rahul R Nair to curb ganja peddling.The accused abandoned their vehicle and tried to run away when they saw the police who were inspecting vehicles.
