Sreedharan Pillai incited violence, prosecution tells HC

Through his speech, he challenged the Supreme Court’s judgment and asked the president of Yuva Morcha to block women, which came to be implemented, prosecution argued.Also, the Sabarimala tanthri had contacted the BJP leader over phone about the legality of closing the temple to prevent women. He and others would face the case first before a case was registered against the tanthri, prosecution alleged.The court was also heard that it was the persons – who heeded the petitioner’s call for breaking the law – that engaged in violence when the temple reopened for Chithira Aattathirunal and unleashed cruelty against a 52-year-old woman and a relative who came to Sabarimala.
