Kerala: Veterinary doctor caught while taking bribe

MALPPURAM: The Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau on Tuesday arrested a veterinary doctor in Malappuram for allegedly accepting bribe.Abdul Nasar, a doctor at Padinjattumuri government veterinary hospital, was arrested while taking bribe from Pookkottoor resident Praveen.According VACB officers, Praveen had approached the vigilance sleuths when Nasar repeatedly demanded Rs 2000 as bribe for issuing a death certificate of his cow, which died due to ailments.The accused will be produced before court on Wednesday.
