Japanese warship departs from Kochi

Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) ship Teruzuki departed from Kochi on Monday after a two-day port call. On the way back home: JMSDF ship Teruzuki is on return passage to Japan after having completed her operational anti-piracy deployment. The visiting JMSDF personnel were given a conducted tour of Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) School. Atsushi Miura, Superintendent, Japan Coast Guard, and Commanding Officer of Somalia Dispatch Investigation Team, who was also part of the visiting delegation, had called on Commander of India’s Coast Guard district (COMDIS) 04 based at Fort Kochi.
