KOHIMA: The All Nagaland College Students' Union ( ANCSU ) on Friday held dharna here and in all district headquarters of the stateAddressing a gathering here, ANCSU president Katho P Awomi said as a concerned students organisations, ANCSU has submitted several memorandums and representation to the state government demanding evacuation of the land encroachers from the government science college in Kohima The ANCSU demanded that all land encroachment issues in the district colleges and polytechnic institutions must be immediately recommended for proper land survey in order to retain the land belonging to the institutes at any cost.The ANCSU also demanded the need of setting up a separate nodal cell for implementing all scholarship schemes so as to facilitate efficient implementation and disbursing of scholarshipsThe main demands of the ANCSU include the Kohima Science College, Jotsoma land encroachment case, separate nodal cell for scholarships and settlement of all dispute land encroachment of government polytechnic institutes.
