33 new cases push Nagaland"s COVID-19 tally to 29,622

Kohima, Aug 23 (PTI) Nagaland"s COVID-19 tally rose to 29,622 on Monday as 33 more people tested positive for the infection, a health bulletin said. The northeastern state"s coronavirus death toll remained unchanged at 610 as no fresh fatality was reported. Nagaland now has 916 active cases, while 27,238 people have recovered from the disease so far, including 87 in the last 24 hours, and 858 patients have migrated to other states to date, it said. The recovery rate among the coronavirus patients in the state slightly improved to 91.76 per cent. Nagaland has tested over 3.03 lakh samples for COVID-19, and inoculated over 6.48 lakh people to date, of whom 1.81 lakh have received both doses, it added. PTI NBS SBN ACD ACD
