Nagaland registers 28 new COVID-19 cases, 1 fresh fatality

Kohima, Sep 28 (PTI) Nagaland"s COVID-19 tally rose to 31,195 on Tuesday as 28 more people tested positive for the infection, while one fresh fatality pushed the state"s coronavirus death toll to 664, a health bulletin said. Dimapur registered the highest number of new cases at 15, followed by Kohima (seven) and Mokokchung (three), it said, adding that the fresh fatality was recorded in Dimapur. Nagaland now has 401 active cases, while 29,145 people have been cured of the disease so far, including 51 in the last 24 hours, and 985 patients have migrated to other states to date. The recovery rate among the coronavirus patients in the state stood at 93.42 per cent. The state has thus far tested over 3.70 lakh samples for COVID-19, and inoculated over 6.85 lakh people, of whom 3.46 lakh have been fully vaccinated. PTI NBS ACD ACD
