Marathi play Ekach Pyala goes housefull

City’s Keshavrao Bhosale Natyagruha was a jam packed audience when the Marathi play Ekach Pyala was staged recently. The play was enacted by Jayant Savarkar, Sucheta Awchat, Bharti Gosawi, Gotya Sawant, Ashok Awchat and Parag Bohodkar. The play written on the lines of Devdas, the hero is introduced to alcohol by Chunnilal. The play portrayed the pitiful decline of an alcoholic and the devastating effects the addiction had on his family life. The famous play is written by R G Gadkari and directed by Chitranjan Kolhatkar .
