Valuables worth Rs 2.34 lakh stolen in 2 break-in incidents

The office is located at Shiroli Pulachi area and valuables worth Rs 2.30 lakh was looted from here.The incident came to light on Wednesday when the employees of the company reported to work and found the valuables missing. "We will soon nab the culprits responsible for the crime," said a police officer attached with Juna Rajwada police station. The suspects then looted valuables worth Rs 3,900 from house.According to police, Patil had gone to Pune for some personal work and when he returned home on Wednesday, he found the locks of the doors opened.After he entered the house, he found that it was completely ransacked. He later lodged a complaint with Juan Rajwada police station.

KOLHAPUR: In two separate incidents reported in Kolhapur city and Shiroli - a village adjacent to Kolhapur - unidentified men broke into the office of an automobile dealer company and a house on the intervening night of February 20 and 21, decamping with valuables worth Rs 2.34 lakh.In the first incident reported at Shiroli police station, unidentified men managed to enter the office of an automobile dealer company through the window. The office is located at Shiroli Pulachi area and valuables worth Rs 2.30 lakh was looted from here.The incident came to light on Wednesday when the employees of the company reported to work and found the valuables missing. The workers immediately alerted the owner of the company - identified as 37-year-old Pranil Vasant Khade, a resident of Puikhadi.Khade later lodged complaint in this regard to the Shiroli police station. "We are gathering information about the incident and searching for CCTV footage from cameras installed on the premises of the company or on roads leading to the company. We have registered a case under section 380 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against unidentified persons and will nab the culprits soon," said a police officer attached with Shiroli police station.In the second incident, reported in the jurisdiction of Juna Rajwada police station, unidentified men broke into the house of complainant - identified as 70-year-old Ramesh Dattatraya Patil , a resident of Ravivar Peth. The suspects then looted valuables worth Rs 3,900 from house.According to police, Patil had gone to Pune for some personal work and when he returned home on Wednesday, he found the locks of the doors opened.After he entered the house, he found that it was completely ransacked.
