Spectators have double the fun with theatre at Shahu Smarak Bhavan

It was a treat for theatre enthusiasts when they got to witness two plays on the opening day of an on-going theatre festival in Kolhapur . The festival that is going on at Shahu Smarak Bhavan witnessed experimental plays named Bole Popat and well-known play Madhuchandra on the first day of the inauguration. The other play Madhuchandra was directed by Jitendra Deshpande that also received much appreciation from audience. Written by Jaysingh Patil, B ole Popat was a hit and theatre aficionados enjoyed the performance thoroughly. The audience were at awe after witnessing the two plays and loved the way the actors projected their every bit of the theatre.
