Doctor’s Day celebrated near Rankala Lake

And to mark their profession, a city based group named Rankala Morning group celebrated Doctor’s day recently. The Rankala Morning group felicitated doctors present there by offering them books and plant saplings. The celebration was done by group of lady doctors who celebrated the day by dedicating it to Dr Anandibai Joshi , Dr Rakhmabai Raut and Dr Krishnabai Kelavkar. Doctors are boon for the mankind and devote their life for welfare of others. The doctors took oath by bearing a torch (mashaal) and thereon went with the activity of planting trees in the nearby areas.

To mark the event, other dignitaries of the city like Yashwant Bhalkar, Pushpa Kulkarni, Charulata Marte, Anandrao Chikhlikar, Raja Inamdar, Sunil Jadhav etc. were present.
