Maharashtra: Five dead as car falls into valley in Kolhapur

KOLHAPUR: Five persons hailing from Belgaum in Karnataka were killed on Sunday after their car fell into a deep valley in Maharashtra's Kolhapur district , police said.The incident occurred when the driver of the car lost his control over the vehicle at a turning at Kodali near Tilari village , following which the car fell into the valley, a police official said.The deceased are identified as Mohan Redkar (40), Krishna Gavade (19), Yallappa Patil (45), Pankaj Tevekar (30) and Nagendra Gavade (29).
